Who it suits
RE-GEN is a restorative, firming facial. It helps hydrate the skin, smooth its texture, give it radiance and visually soften fine lines. We give most of our attention to expression lines. We suggest this treatment when:
- fine expression lines have become more visible – on the forehead, between the brows, between the nose and mouth, or around the lips;
- your skin lacks moisture and smoothness;
- your skin looks tired and lacks radiance;
- the surface of your skin has become rougher and less even;
- you would like rejuvenating care without needles.
If your main concern is a lack of moisture rather than expression lines, the HY+ hydrating facial may suit you better. We will tell you which to choose when we see your skin.
How the treatment works
First we listen to what concerns you and look at your skin, assessing its sensitivity, thickness and condition. This tells us how intensive each step should be and which areas need the most attention.
- We choose cleansing products for your skin type and condition and cleanse the skin thoroughly: clean skin is more receptive to active ingredients.
- We apply a thin layer of Corrector Peeling, a corrective peel. It helps remove excess dead skin cells and smooth the surface of the skin, adds radiance and prepares the skin for the steps that follow. The peel stays on for a few minutes – we set the time for each person, taking into account the skin’s sensitivity and thickness, how much oil it produces, how much dead-cell build-up there is, and any breakouts. Then we remove the product carefully and tone the skin.
- We spread Action Serum, an active serum, over the face and massage it in gently until it is absorbed. It hydrates, makes the skin feel comfortable and prepares it for the restorative part of the treatment. At this stage you may feel a mild warmth, and your skin may redden briefly.
- On the surface of the skin – along the more visible expression lines, or where the skin needs more firmness – we lay collagen threads and moisten them with the RE-GEN activator. The threads then become supple and cling to the skin, give it moisture and smoothness, and help visually soften fine lines. These may be lines on the forehead, between the brows or between the nose and mouth, or the lip contour – we always choose the areas for each person.
- On chosen areas – the forehead, under the eyes, between the nose and mouth or on the chin, for example – we apply 2nd Skin patches, mist them with the activator and leave them on for a few minutes. The patches help enhance the effect of the active ingredients and give the skin moisture, smoothness and comfort. Afterwards we lightly massage in what remains until it is fully absorbed.
- We apply Action Cream to the face, neck and décolletage. It helps the skin retain moisture, calms it and reinforces the feeling of smoothness and comfort the treatment leaves behind.
- If your treatment takes place during the day, we always finish with an SPF sunscreen.
Aftercare
Afterwards your skin usually feels hydrated and smooth. If it reddened during the Action Serum step, the redness is generally short-lived.
After the peel and active products, do not forget broad-spectrum sun protection every day – it helps protect the skin from pigmentation and the effects of the environment.
Before we finish, we share what we noticed and recommend the home care that will help keep your skin smooth. We will suggest how often to repeat RE-GEN after the first treatment, depending on how your skin has responded.
