Who it suits
We suggest the Exotech facial when you notice the first signs of maturing skin, or signs that are already more visible:
- fine lines have appeared, and the skin looks thinner and has become less firm and elastic;
- the skin is dry and lacks moisture;
- the complexion looks greyish and lacks radiance;
- the texture is uneven, the pores look enlarged and there are marks left by the sun;
- the face looks tired, and its contours are less defined than they used to be.
The treatment also suits skin that has lost its tone – through stress, sun exposure, changes in weight or the passing years.
How the treatment works
Before the treatment we talk with you and look closely at your skin, assessing its sensitivity, hydration, pigmentation and elasticity, and the depth of any fine lines. On that basis we choose the intensity of each step, and the method we will use to deliver the exosome concentrate.
- Using professional cleansing products, we carefully remove any traces of make-up, sunscreen and oil.
- We spread the Magnet Peel scrub over the face with light, massaging movements. It helps to remove dead cells from the outer layer of the skin, smooth its surface and give it radiance. Skin renewed in this way is more receptive to active ingredients.
- We work over the face with the Acid Glove. This step smooths the surface of the skin further, helps to refine its texture and reduce dullness, and prepares the skin for the exosome concentrate. We adjust how strongly the acids work to the sensitivity of your skin.
- With ultrasound or oxygen infusion, we deliver Exotech Exosomes Concentrate, which comes in a separate vial in the treatment kit. Exosomes are a complex of active signalling components used in professional skin-renewal programmes. The concentrate is designed to support the skin’s moisture balance and comfort, so that it looks fresher and more youthful.
- Next comes Collagen Cloud, a collagen product. It hydrates the skin, brings a feeling of comfort, plumpness and firmness, and helps to soften the look of fine lines caused by a lack of moisture.
- We apply an intensely hydrating mask. It helps to calm the skin after the active steps, eases discomfort, supports the skin’s protective barrier and heightens the feeling of freshness, smoothness and plumpness.
- We finish with soothing and hydrating products and broad-spectrum sun protection.
Two ways to deliver the exosomes
With ultrasound. Sonophoresis: ultrasonic waves help active ingredients spread and penetrate the skin.
With oxygen infusion. A device produces oxygen, enriches the concentrate with it and sprays it onto the face in a fine stream. It is the same device we use for our separate oxygen infusion facial.
Both methods are part of the Exotech facial, and both are needle-free. We decide together which to use, once we have assessed the condition of your skin and what you would like.
Aftercare
After the treatment the skin usually looks smoother, firmer and better hydrated.
After the acid step the skin is more sensitive to the sun, so use broad-spectrum sun protection every day – it helps protect the skin against pigmentation.
Before you leave, we go over how your skin responded to the treatment and advise you on caring for it at home.
A single treatment or a course
You can have the Exotech facial once, when you would like to refresh your skin, or choose a course for more consistent care. We will advise how many treatments your skin needs, and how often, after your first visit.
Exotech and our exosome treatment
At the studio we also offer an exosome treatment – a separate treatment in which we deliver Simildiet exosomes with a microneedling technique. We will advise which treatment suits you once we have looked at your skin.
