Who it suits
The Citrus Care facial is for tired, dull, dehydrated skin – skin that has lost its glow and smoothness, and whose tone looks uneven. It also suits skin showing its first fine lines, and skin worn out by sun, stress or city air. It is a good choice before a celebration, an event or a photo shoot, too. At its heart are vitamin C, which gives the skin radiance, and a peel with acids, citric acid among them, which gently renews the surface of the skin.
Citrus Care is not just a facial with a mask but a whole ritual: exfoliation, an acid peel, a vitamin C concentrate, a massage and a mask. It is not a harsh chemical peel, but its acid step is an active one. That is why we first talk with you, look at your skin and assess whether the treatment is right for you. We choose its intensity according to the condition and sensitivity of your skin, the time of year and how you care for it at home.
How the treatment works
- We cleanse the skin thoroughly with a gentle cleanser, removing make-up, traces of sunscreen, surface oil and environmental impurities. Then we exfoliate it gently, so that the skin is smoother and more receptive to active ingredients.
- We apply a peel with acids, among them citric acid, one of the alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). The peel gently renews the surface of the skin: it helps remove built-up dead skin cells, smooths the skin and gives it a glow. We set the contact time according to how sensitive your skin is, and watch how it responds the whole time. Then we carefully remove the peel.
- We apply a concentrate with vitamin C and other antioxidants to the face, neck and décolletage, then massage it in until it is fully absorbed, or infuse it with ultrasound. The vitamin C in the concentrate is stabilised and encapsulated. It is an antioxidant: it helps protect the skin from free radicals and gives it radiance.
- We give an activating massage with C+ Activator, a product that also contains vitamin C. The massage helps the active ingredients spread evenly, stimulates microcirculation, relaxes the facial muscles and eases tension. Afterwards the skin often looks more vibrant and rested.
- Next comes the Citric Osmosis alginate mask with vitamin C and acerola. We mix its powder with C+ Activator until smooth and apply it over the whole face, avoiding the eye area. The mask sets into a supple, almost rubbery film that helps the active ingredients stay on the skin for longer. We lift it off in a single movement and wipe away what remains with BASICS Toner.
- We apply an elixir and then C-Mild Cream to the face, neck and décolletage, followed by a light finishing massage. The cream hydrates and calms the skin, and supports its protective barrier after the acid step.
- We finish the treatment with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Aftercare
The skin usually looks more radiant and smoother, hydrated and rested, with a fresher, more even tone. Skin in this state is also better prepared for home care, so at the end of your visit we advise you on which products to use.
After the peel, your skin is renewing itself and may be more sensitive to the sun. Use broad-spectrum sun protection (SPF 30–50) every day, reapply it when you are outdoors, and avoid strong direct sun for the first few days.
Citrus Care can be booked as a single treatment or as a course. We will advise you how often to repeat it after your first visit.
