A mask chosen for your skin
Each of these treatments is careful skincare that ends with a professional mask. Most of the masks are French. We make the final choice once we have looked at your skin and talked with you: how it feels, what bothers you, which products you use at home.
Dry skin most often lacks moisture, and mature skin lacks nourishment and firmness. Tired skin needs freshness, and skin with an uneven tone needs radiance. If you are not sure which treatment to choose, call us – we will advise.
How the treatment works
- We remove make-up and impurities.
- We exfoliate: with a device we gently remove dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother.
- We carry out a detox: we apply a detoxifying (cleansing) mask chosen for the condition of your skin. It softens what is in the pores and prepares the skin for cleansing.
- We cleanse the face thoroughly.
- If you have chosen the extended programme, we also resurface the skin with microdermabrasion.
- Depending on the condition of your skin, we massage the face, neck and décolletage.
- We apply the chosen mask. While it works, you can rest and relax.
At the end we tell you what we noticed and advise you on caring for your skin at home.
Two programmes
Most of the mask facials come in two versions: with detox and a facial cleanse, or with microdermabrasion as well – a gentle polishing of the skin’s surface. We often choose the second programme when the skin looks uneven, dull or tired.
Which mask to choose
AquaLift – hydration and freshness
A supple, pleasantly cooling firming mask. It hydrates, calms and smooths the skin, helps it retain moisture and strengthens its protective function. We choose it when the skin looks tired and dry, and has lost its vitality and firmness. This treatment can also be booked online.
CO₂ – freshness and tone
A CO₂ gel mask: granules dissolved in a special gel release carbon dioxide, which encourages microcirculation in the skin. The treatment is pleasant and needle-free. The mask also contains oils and hydrating ingredients, so the skin is nourished at the same time. We choose it when the skin is dull, tired and has lost its tone, and when you would like a smoother texture and a fresher complexion. The mask is left on for 20–30 minutes.
Collagen – elasticity and hydration
Collagen is one of the most important structural proteins of the skin. Over the years the skin finds it harder to retain moisture, so a mask of concentrated collagen serves it well: the mask hydrates, softens the texture, calms and smooths. We choose it when the skin is becoming drier and losing elasticity and tone.
Hyaluronic acid – intense hydration
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in our skin: it binds moisture and, together with collagen, supports the skin’s elasticity. The hyaluronic acid mask is for dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin, and for skin that lacks elasticity. Here the hyaluronic acid is in the mask, so the treatment involves no needles at all.
Peptides – firmness
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. In this mask they are natural fragments of collagen and elastin. The mask hydrates and strengthens the skin and helps it stay elastic. We choose it for tired skin that is losing firmness, when you would like a smoother, firmer look.
Other special treatments
The device-based oxygen infusion facial is described separately, and the multi-step HY+ hydrating facial, with products from the Spanish FR-HAUT line, also has a page of its own. Our vitamin C facial is the multi-step Citrus Care facial, also with FR-HAUT products. It brings together exfoliation, a peel with acids, a vitamin C concentrate, a massage and a mask, and it can be booked on Treatwell as well. The OxygenO₂ restorative facial is designed for sensitive, dehydrated skin.
Aftercare
On the day of the treatment it is best to go without make-up and let your skin rest. After microdermabrasion, be sure to use sun protection for a few days. After your first visit we will advise how often to repeat the treatments – that depends on the condition of your skin and on what you would like.
