Who it suits

The treatment is for women and men who wish to take consistent care of their scalp and hair – especially when the hair looks thinner or tired, or is starting to fall out more than usual.

Hair grows in cycles: each hair grows for a while, then rests, and eventually falls out. This does not happen to all hairs at once – one is only beginning to grow while another is already resting. That is why some hair falls out every day, which is natural.

Hair loss can have many causes: stress, diet, hormonal changes, health conditions. If your hair has started to fall out suddenly, heavily or in patches, we recommend seeing a dermatologist first. Our treatment is scalp care; it does not replace an examination by a doctor.

What we use

We work with a specialist formula designed for the scalp. It contains:

  • hyaluronic acid and dexpanthenol, which hydrate the scalp;
  • organic silicon;
  • ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) extract;
  • biotin (vitamin H);
  • polynucleotides and peptides.

The price depends on the composition of the concentrate – we will talk it through before the treatment.

How the treatment works

  1. We look at your scalp and talk about the condition of your hair.
  2. We spread the formula over the scalp.
  3. Then we work it in with a micro-needle roller, whose fine needles create micro-channels, or massage it in with our fingertips.

We choose the method according to the condition of your scalp and how it feels to you. The roller works on the same principle as microneedling for the face.

Aftercare

Slight redness or tenderness of the scalp after a roller treatment usually settles quickly. On the day of the treatment, avoid saunas and swimming pools; we will tell you after the treatment when you can wash your hair and use styling products. If anything concerns you, call us – we will advise.

The course and home care

The recommended course is eight treatments, once a week. Hair grows slowly, so scalp care calls for consistency: it is best to judge any change not after one treatment, but after the whole course.

There is also a similar serum for home use: we recommend applying it for 3–4 months, and we will explain how often to use it in your case.

You can read about other treatments for men on the Facials for men page.

Active ingredients reach the skin through micro-channels made by fine needles.

A man’s skin is usually thicker and oilier, and daily shaving irritates it. We choose treatments that take this into account, and tell you clearly what to do at home.
